Picture of Silver Cloud (left) last March from the beach on Grand Turk. Silver Cloud is the twin of Silver Wind, the ship we'll be joining in Athens. With about 250 guests, it looks like the lifeboat for the Holland America newest ship, the Nieuw Amsterdam, a smaller "mid-sized" cruise ship that has 2100 guests! The Nieuw Amsterdam is small compared to the twins of Oasis and Allure of the Seas, each carrying 6,296 guests. We saw Allure at St. Maartin and were very happy that one didn't choose to come to Grand Turk the day we were there.
